RARA GURLS

RARA is a short term for DARARAR ON, in Visayan terms, means, anywhere you go. This was supposed to happen, but during this election period, we never experienced how this Rara gurl occurs. It's truly unexpected. Who would know it would and could be happened?🧐

In November 2021, we started to do a feeding program in various barangay through the initiative of our SK Federation President of Culasi, Hon. Pete Joseph "Jojo"  L. Rivera, with her mother named, Madam Josella Joy "Jiji" L. Rivera, we do routine every weekend that we go along with them to bring gifts and share blessings to the community, especially the children. We did parlor games every weekend, and prizes for the winners. Even the women who were willing to enjoy. People from many barangay were participative in every part of the program.

Unexpectedly, RARA GURLS are just 6 who stand for  BOBBY, JUN, ENRON, NINA, LORNA, and JUMERIN.
We never thought of having the group name n the first place. We preferred to go and helped with people and see them with hope on their faces every time arrived. The first time we visited Barangay Flores,we never had time to enjoy it just because there were many programs to assist, and it's not part of our program too, after we gave and served the children we decided to go because it getting dark and we drove a  long way and it's in the mountain area.

The next spot was barangay Osorio, with SK President Jojo Rivera, and Madam Jiji Rivera, we climbed😂, not to the point as in we crawled as we have seen in the movies, we were just walking too, and sometimes we dance and we laughed a lot, we thrown jokes towards each other so as we can think of tired and cramps on our feet.

So we are not just 6 members anymore, now we have Tonette, Nani, Merlyn, Fe, and her daughter SK Chairwoman of Centro Poblacion, Culasi, Antique.  We were having so much fun even walking in the higher part of the mountain up to the barrio of Osorio, it's really on the peak of a mountain. Hard but through our advocacy we did it in surprise. We gave food and gifts to the children and some parlor games to make people attract to attend the program. We brought lunch for ourselves too. Just to make sure we don't starve and have the energy when we go down back to the town.
